MUSEU.XYZ is where Brazilian digital art and culture find their home in the metaverse. We build and maintain this virtual space – a living platform for artistic experimentation, cultural connection, and creative exploration.
Digital museum in the metaverse
What started as an experiment in 2021 has become a thriving digital ecosystem. MUSEU.XYZ and its expansion, DISTRITO XYZ, serve as a persistent space where exhibitions evolve continuously, artist residencies generate new work, and visitors from anywhere can experience Brazilian digital culture without geographic barriers. By removing the constraints of physical space and traditional hierarchies, the museum creates opportunities for artists to gain global visibility while maintaining creative control. Tekne Studio’s role is to keep this world alive – maintaining its infrastructure, ensuring seamless experiences, and supporting the community that makes it meaningful.
A museum should be a living thing. In the metaverse, exhibitions evolve, communities shape the space, and artists find new ways to present their work. We’re just beginning to understand what’s possible – and it requires creativity and technical research. That’s where Tekne Studio comes in.
